Director
Passionate about all aspects of natural history I studied Geography at Worcester university where an appetite for river themed disciplines and environmental science developed. Since graduating in 2014 I have worked within the public sector delivering a wide array of ecological and environmental works as well as at Natural England forming part of the District Level Licensing team. My specialisms include reptile ecology, surveys and mitigation, project engagement, habitat management and creation. I take a pragmatic approach towards all aspects of my work, collaboratively working with all interested parties whilst prioritising tangible ecological improvements.

I have been working as an ecologist since 2012. Before co-founding Dipper Ecology I was as a Senior Ecologist for a multinational engineering company, where I worked on numerous and varied projects from large-scale national infrastructure schemes to local small-scale developments. I am highly experienced in a wide number of species survey, as well as being proficient in technical deliverables such as PMW, PEA, EcIA, ES chapters and general ecology reports. My key specialisms are in ecology, survey, habitat management and mitigation of reptiles, otter, birds, water vole and badger. I hold protected species licences for great crested newt, barn owl and smooth snake and sand lizard.
